The prestigious American DVD label "Video Artists International" has just released two of Gulsin Onay’s live concerto performances with the Bilkent Symphony on DVD.

In this her debut DVD album, the celebrated Turkish pianist performs the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor and the Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No.2 in G minor. The Bilkent Symphony Orchestra is directed by conductors Emil Tabakov (Grieg) and Avi Ostrowsky (Saint-Saens).

Described by Opera News as “one of the classiest of the classical home entertainment companies”, VAI Music has a large catalogue of distinguished pedigree, featuring many of classical music's finest interpreters of all time, such as David Oistrakh, Josef Hofmann, Martha Argerich and Sviatoslav Richter. It also contains rare videos of another Turkish artist, the legendary Leyla Gencer. A future release will be a solo DVD of Ms. Onay’s Miami International Piano Festival performances.

Gulsin Onay, regularly touring the United States, made her Miami debut last year with a recital and a concerto performance at the Festival. The critics acclaimed Ms. Onay’s recital performance as, “an ideal blend between drama and refinement”, whilst appraising her Chopin 2nd concerto as, “not only strong and convincing, but holds very personal touches and distinctive.”

The DVD “Gulsin Onay in Concert” can be obtained from music stores as well as online.
